Resurfacing and Repair

Repairs: Have a butcher block that you bought years ago and it’s in terrible shape? I
believe we’re the only company to offer this service! We’ll take your butcher block, cutting board, or island top and fix it! We have all of the tools necessary to mend the problems. We’ll also sand down the top and bottom surfaces, re-glue loose joints, cut apart and re-glue whatever is needed so you have a new surface to work on without getting rid of grandma’s old butcher block. It’s the best way to preserve the sentimentality of something old without throwing it out. Here is a butcher block island that had a lot of water damage problems around the sink.
We removed the sink, cleaned out the black mold and filth, re-glued the joints, filled the
wide cracks and put several coats of poly on top of it.

 

Here's an all Hard Maple custom top still in our shop that just received it's mineral oil finish.



Here’s an island top that we made from Hard Maple with a double Walnut stripe on each end of the island. We also added a strip of Bird’s Eye Maple on each end. The contrast with the Walnut and Bird’s Eye Maple sure add character and POP to this island top.
