Bring beauty and sophistication to your next charcuterie with a Marsh Board. Small enough for your coffee table, yet large enough for a variety of your favorite meats & cheeses!

Each board is made of Black Walnut hardwood and features two live edges along the front and back sides. The live edges are gracefully blended with a stylish curve on each end of the board. Perfectly placed handles cut into each end make for easy lifting and carrying. 

Each Marsh Board is finished with a food-safe all-natural Beeswax & Mineral Oil finish. 

 

Each board is a sturdy 1 1/4 inches (3 cm) thick, 20 inches (51 cm) in length, and between 11- to 16-inches (28 to 38 cm) wide.

Because we use a single piece of wood with two live edges, the width of the boards is never the same!  They are typically between 11- to 16-inches (28 to 38 cms), but may not be that wide for the entire length of the board. Medium boards have an average width of up to 13-inches (33 cm). Large boards have an average width larger than 13-inches (33 cm).

Wipe with a soft sponge and mild soapy water.

Do not use a scrubbing pad or aggressively scrub your board.

Do not use harsh kitchen cleaners such as Comet®, Pledge®, or Lysol®. 

Do not use bleach.

Never use soap-based oil cleaners (like Murphy’s Oil Soap® or other wood floor cleaners), as these will leave a film that will gum the surface of the finish.

Be sure to dry the surface completely after cleaning. Allow the board to air dry on its side.

When your board develops a dry, thirsty look, it is time to apply a fresh coat of Tung Oil. This can be accomplished using our Vermont Butcherblock Company Tung Oil Polish.
